Clinton J Harrison, age 84 passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 in Joplin, after a long illness.

He was born November 28, 1927 in Glendora, CA to the late William (Bill) and Lydia Harrison. Clint was a graduate of Neosho, MO High School, where even as a young man his talent earned him the nickname of “Clint-atra”, after the famed Frank Sinatra. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge from the service, he began his lifelong career entertaining as a member of the Bob White Trio, touring the country playing from Las Vegas to the Catskill Mountains. A renowned entertainer in Joplin for many years, Clint was the highlight at Hidden Acres Supper Club throughout the 60’s and in to the 80’s. He often appeared at the Red Lion Lounge in the famed Camelot Inn of Tulsa, OK. He spent several years in the Tucson, AZ area playing at the Elks lodge and other venues before returning to the Bentonville, AR area where he co-owned a restaurant and provided the entertainment along with his wife.

Clint is survived by 3 sons; Russell Moll of Las Vegas, NV; Gregory Moll of Salt Lake City, UT; Scott Harrison of Joplin, MO; two step-daughters, Debera Davis of Springfield, MO and PJ Harrison of St. Louis, MO; as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, at Parker Chapel, Joplin. Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery, Joplin. The family will receive friends Monday, March 26th from 6 to 7p.m. at Parker Funeral Home in Joplin.
